The Trust has started this Blog Spot in addition to the website, to stimulate interest from our local community, our visitors and hopefully interaction with the developers. We are looking to create a forum interested in the beauty, built heritage and distinctive history of the Brechin area and through the Brechin Blog Spot hopfully raise important issues and concerns.
We all agree that a website is a useful tool to provide information and updates regarding the business of the Brechin Civic Trust, but with the addition of the Blog serves as an archive and provides a historic record of Brechin community as it advances through the years of change ahead.
We hope that it will stimulate interesting discussions with regards to the preservation, development and improvement of the features of general public amenity or historic interest in Brechin. Also centralise focus on high standards of architecture and town planning in Brechin.
